The seat post fit perfectly only the clamp is weak , otherwise the deal with Velobuil and Miracle was really good.
Season of Miacle is having great comunication i received the frame 7 days after buyng it, Season contacted me to tell me they have no more clear coat in 58 and he could send me a matt one without payng 40$ extra.

The build went really well i allready did 1000km with the bike and it ride beautifully .

The only problem i had was the carbon seat clamp to weak , the front derailler hanger got unglued from the frame when i adjusted the derailleur by hand without undoing eneugh the screw but the rivet are holding it .
And a clanking noise coming from the steering when i climbed out off the saddle, coming from the top bearing mooving a little bit Under pressure , i did the soda aluminium can trik to add a layer and supress the space , worked perfectly since no more noise.

I thing that s the only 3 thing you have to look at .

That really Worth it now i have a really reactive and fast 6.3kg bike , i m coming from canyon CF10 and Giant tcr composite , probably a little stiffer but less reactive and lively than the FM066SL a real winner at that price , here in France you can find it for retail Under brand name for 1490 Euros so 3 time the price i paid for it!!!

Do you think you'll have to reinforce the derailleur hanger down the road? and where did you put the soda can shim exactly?

I picked up a cheap Omni one from eBay, it works well and only weighs 12 grams. I thought that my frame would come with a clamp but found out it didn't. I had some original noise issues as well but they have since worked themselves out. Over 700 miles with this frame and no problems yet.

Hello.

I'm about to order Yokozuna gear cables and they write I should measure the inside cabling size. I don't have the frame yet. Should I order 4 or 5 mm? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for that. I have now ordered the FM066SL through the group buy. One more question sorry. There was no option to add a headset to my order. Is one included or do I need to buy one myself elsewhere?
Thanks.

For those of you have have ordered this frame recently, how long did it take to get a shipping confirmation? I ordered appx 5 days ago and have yet to hear anything. From other comments, it appears that it can often take a while before everything is ready to ship from the factory, so I was expecting a small wait. Just wondering what other peoples experiences have been.

I'm about to order a frame. I do not know if I am 54cm or 56cm. I have a Fuji Altamira 55cm and it's a little too big for me. However, I don't think the sizing translates to this frame, so I took some measurements.

Can you guys give me some advice? It looks like I'm sort of in between sizes.... Here are my measurements. I would probably veer towards the competitive fit... Thanks!

is this the geometry of your fuji altamira?
is it 55L with a effective top tube of 57.5 ?
is so how much do you what reduce it by? i.e if you stand on your current bike, where do you want your hands to be ? 1, 2 or 3 cm near you ?
if it is just 1cm shorter go with the 56 if it is 3cm go with the 54

when choosing frame size the most important parameter is the effective top tube length, everything else can be adjusted later , by adjusting saddle height/position and using different stem lengths angles etc..

I have a problem with the saddle clamp of the fm066 seatpost. The top part of the clamp is wider than the saddle rail. see attached picture. Does anybody else have this problem with the FM066 seatpost from dengfu?

Direct Carbon Frames from China

You are here because you love to ride, love a great deal and aren't afraid to get your hands dirty.  This site is here for the same reason.  We built our own bikes from carbon fiber frames purchased from mainland Chinese manufacturers.  We read many forums, listened to sound advice, rolled our sleeves up and got to work.  The result is a lot of fun and we continue to build more bikes.  This site is the same. IT DEPENDS ON YOU.  What categories would you like to see?  What other content?  You speak we listen and then get to work making this the one stop for everything necessary to build your own bike from the frame up.  Let's have some fun.
